Would you like a puppy from us?

Interested in one of our puppies? Would you like a puppy from our kennel? Then please read this article and our conditions of sale carefully.

Since dog breeding is an engaging passtime for us and not simply a business or means of support, we will always try our utmost to provide loving care, excellent surroundings and the best social environment so that our puppies bring their new family only joy and become their master's closest friend. All of our puppies are raised in a natural home environment and are never secluded.

It's just as important to us that our puppies receive the same tender care throughout their lives and for that reason we always try carefully to find people with whom we can thoroughly entrust them. Therefore it's always a matter of interest to us what kind of family our puppies go to, what you can offer them and the kind of life you lead.

We also need to know what plans interested parties have for the puppies and any requirements they may have for their dogs now or in the future. With this in mind we will always try to find the right puppy to meet your needs!

As breeders our aim is to raise healthy puppies with a quality appearance, pedigree and above all a balanced temperament, and therefore, we place great stress on their social surroundings. We also aim to raise them to be typical examples of their breed. That's why we choose the parents carefully and make every effort that our dogs undergo all required and even voluntary medical examinations. Whatever the case, all our puppies are bred from dogs with registration papers and they always will be!

We naturally assume that anyone who shows an interest in us has thoroughly thought through the process of acquiring a new dog and is aware of everything it entails. That is, that they are not only for pleasure, but are also a serious responsibility and require a commitment for several years!

Often the first question people ask is about the cost of a puppy. I'm not the type of person who would be annoyed or offended by such a question because I understand that everyone must consider whether it is within his or her means to take on a puppy. That being said it's always more pleasent if people tell us something about themselves, what kind of puppy they are looking for and, the case being, what plans they have for it before asking us about the price. In the event that you don't plan to go into breeding or dog shows we can offer you a non-standard dog which, as a rule, is much cheaper than a puppy who is a potential future champion. A non-standard puppy may have a defect in its bite, a non-standard colour, or something similar which would in no way cause you a problem if you were simply looking for a pet or a dog for doing sport with. This gives you the opportunity to buy a dog with registration papers at a decent price.

It is, of course, important to remember that the price of a puppy is not the end of your expenses. If you wish to keep your dog in good condition you will have to choose quality food, make regular visits to the vet's, and in the case that you want to prepare your four-legged friend for exhibitions, you will have to take into account the costs of quality healthcare products and other necessities as well as entrance fees, travel costs etc. And if you plan on a sporting career for your dog, quality equipment, coaching and further requirements won't come cheaply.

The selling price should always match the quality. Unfortunately though, this is not always the way and a high price doesn't always mean high quality. It should be remembered that relatively high expenses come with breeding and if people can afford to sell cheaply they must have been able to economise somewhere. Savings can be made, for example, on the quality of the parents or the care taken of the puppies which can be reflected in the character, appearance and, above all, the puppies' health. An advantageous price, therefore, may not be worth your while. For that reason it's important to choose the breeding kennel and the parents of you future puppy carefully. The price of a quality puppy with registration papers can range from approximately 10,000 to 35,000 Czech Crowns, (approx. €360 - €1270). Factors affecting the price include breed, sex and the parents' successes. If, for example, you were interested in a puppy whose parents were world champions the price would be completely different

Should you choose our kennel, we would be extremely glad.

Complete information will always be available on our website under the section 'Puppies', where you can find information on current or future litters. There you'll find information about the parents and each individual puppy in the case that they have already been born. Each week of their lives we post new photos and, where possible, videos. We allow visits in person when the puppies have reached four weeks old.

If you have a specific puppy in mind and wish to reserve it, we will require a 40% deposit, min. 2500 Czech Crowns, (approx. €90). A provisional contract will be written up at this time. This guarantees us that your interest is genuine and that we will not refuse other potential customers unnecessarily, whilst you will be guaranteed that your desired puppy will no longer be up for sale. This deposit is non-refundable and if, after it has been agreed, you decide not to buy the puppy, it will cover any expenses to the breeder as a result of the cancelled sale.

Of course it is also possible to reserve a puppy from a future litter after which you will have priority of choice, that is, you will have the opportunity to choose a specific puppy and put down the deposit ahead of those who made a reservation later than you. Upon purchase, which is possible when the puppy has reached eight weeks, you will pay the remainder of the whole amount. You may also pay the whole amount in advance, arrange to complete the purchase at a later date, arrange for basic training or preparation for trials, co-ownership etc. Everything is dependant on communication, but we will do all we can to accomodate your requirements.

As I have already mentioned, it's important to us how our puppies get on and therefore one of our conditions of sale is that we remain in contact with the new owner(s). That's to say that a few times a year you'll let us know how things are going and whether you have any problems, and send us a few photos and information regarding your successes.

We provide new owners with a contract of purchase, dogfood, equipment for getting started and club material. The puppies are of course innoculated, wormed, chipped, have a valid pet passport and are always in excellent condition. They will have been acquainted with large and small dogs, car journeys, will have been out on walks away from home and have met with strangers. They are used to things such as having their claws cut, displaying their teeth, maintaining posture for when they are on display etc. Our hairless dogs are accustomed to being combed, shaved and having their ears trimmed.

It's always a source of pleasure for us if our puppies take part in exhibitions, or take up some form of sport. We are happy to help with anything, though this isn't a condition. Even if you are simply looking for a companion you can choose from our dogs. Our main concern is finding a loving and permanent home.
